We have so much to be thankful for! Having baby Palesa has been the biggest blessing we could imagine, and we are thankful to be able to spend this time in Colorado with family. We are thankful for how well my mom is doing during chemotherapy, and we are faithful as we continue praying for her complete recovery from breast cancer.
Creating a beautiful home and family with my fabulous groom and new baby daughter as we enjoy a simple yet abundant life together.

Pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving
We had two Thanksgivings this year. The first was at my mom's house, and we enjoyed a pot roast, mashed potatoes, other delicious things I have since forgotten, and of course, pie. Osei made a plain pumpkin pie, and then got creative and made a pumpkin-sweet potato mix. Overall, we all seemed to prefer the pie with sweet potato. We enjoyed the time with family. Palesa was the centerpiece, and we all took turns holding her. Also during the evening, we video chatted with Osei's parents. They were very impressed to see how big Palesa was, and agreed that she is simply growing more precious and adorable by the day.

Our first plane trip!
Unlike previous trips with just Osei and I, we packed in advance, so getting ready to leave town wasn't too stressful. We have an entire suitcase full cloth diapers, by the way. Anyway, I put Palesa down at 10:00. She was awake, but I turned the radio to static and she put herself to sleep. Major success. Osei and I went to bed around midnight, exactly when Palesa woke up again to eat. And eat. And eat. And poop. I tried putting her down, but she makes all kinds of cute noises, and I can't sleep when she's awake. Finally, at 2:30, she and I both fell asleep, at last. And at 4:45 am, the alarm clock rang.
Mom and Ralph picked us up from the airport, and were so thrilled to meet their new granddaughter! It is hard not to fall in love with Palesa as soon as you set eyes on her, and just as we predicted, they are both smitten.
Eventually, we put Palesa on the dining room table while we ate dinner. She was our centerpiece.

Very late pictures- 23.5 & 24.5 weeks
Hello all,
Sorry for the massive delay in sending pictures! I'm now 25.5 weeks, so this is really late! Anyway, here is a picture from 23.5 and 24.5 weeks during our trip to Colorado. Super cute maternity clothes thanks to the lovely Tamara Hopkins, mother to two beautiful daughters.
Osei and I spent 10 wonderful days in Colorado for vacation. The trip was actually way too short, and we unfortunately didn't get to see many wonderful Colorado people we'd hoped to connect with. However, we spent a great day camping up at Rocky Mountain National Park, saw fireworks in Loveland, and hiked Royal Arches at Chataqua. My very talented sister, Suz, of In Harmony Studios (http://www.inharmonystudios.com/) took some professional maternity photos of us, and we had a fun little baby reception.
Now, we're back to reality in Boston... a lovely summer to come, hopefully full of lots of blowing fans and air conditioned places to visit!
Love and hugs to all,
Amy, Osei, and baby Omee.

Horse Back Riding
For my bachlorette party, my three amazing bridesmaids took me horseback riding. We had a blast! No one woke up the next morning with hangovers, though I think all of us were a little sore!
The talented photographer, Susan Horn, was even snapping pictures from the back of a moving horse.
Beautiful Colorado, just outside of Golden.
I forgot how green Colorado can be. It was a perfect sunny day in June.
We had an amazing day, and I am thankful to Suz, Becca, and Melony for making our wedding experience so memorable!

Lots of Love to go around in Loveland
A few days before our wedding, we took our recently-arrived guests to Benson Sculpture Garden in Loveland, Colorado. The park is conveniently named after my maiden name too, but that's actually just a coincidence. I remember how hectic we started feeling at this point with all the last-minute wedding preparations, especially now that family had begun to arrive and gather in Colorado. Osei's parents were hosted by the very generous family of my brother-in-law, and the rest of the group stayed with my sister and her husband.

We both had so much to smile about!

We sat in the grass while the grown-ups looked at the sculptures.

No one minded the two soon-to-be-newly-weds who couldn't bear to stand even a few feet apart!

We took a moment by ourselves to steal a quick whispered conversation.

I'm so in love with this amazing man!

Darn those spring snowstorms!

My mom is visiting me from Colorado this weekend (my birthday is next week, and well, that's just what mom's do!) She emailed me last night because there is a big snowstorm en route to Colorado and they cancelled her flight...

But the excellent news...she was booked on a different flight arriving 2 hours later! See, not even Colorado spring snow can get in the way of a mother visiting her daughter in NYC!
