Carnegie Hall Tonight!!!

In early December, I listened to an Economist podcast about Mahler's 2nd Symphony, known as the Resurrection.  The description was so inspiring that I promptly finished my run and downloaded the symphony on itunes.

A few weeks ago, I was walking home past Carnegie Hall (as usual... how great is it that I pass by on my way home from work?) and saw a sign about an upcoming performance of Mahler's 3rd Symphony.

The performance is called "Mahler for the Children of AIDS" and is a "Benefit for the Pediatric AIDS work of Catholic Medical Mission Board."

This will be my first time to Carnegie Hall.  I love that I am both supporting a good cause and I get to see a live performance of Mahler.
